Bank Commonwealth Branch will continue to operate to serve your banking transactions until August 30th, 2024.
You may continue to perform banking transactions at all Bank Commonwealth ATMs, ATM Bersama/ Prima/Mastercard International networks also through CommBank Mobile, CommBank SmartWealth, Internet Banking, and CommBank ID before the Effective Date of Merger.
Especially for you as SDB customers, you can get free SDB rental for the first 1 (one) year by following these 2 steps:
- Visit a Bank Commonwealth Branch Office to close your SDB facility no later than August 20th,2024. The administration fee for your current SDB Bank Commonwealth facility rental will be refunded on a pro-rata basis based on the year's rental fee along with a key security deposit which will also be refunded in full and will be credited to your Bank Commonwealth account.
- Visit the designated OCBC branch office by bringing the letter that we have sent to SDB customers along with your proof of identity to open an account and SDB. The rental fee will be debited first from OCBC account at the time of the opening of the facility, SDB will be credited back on the next working day to your OCBC account.
If by August 20th, 2024, you have not closed your SDB, then referring to the Terms and Conditions of Opening SDB at Bank Commonwealth, Bank Commonwealth reserves the right to forcibly open your SDB facility in the presence of the authorities and appointed Bank officials.
