Terms & Conditions – Member Get Member Program

  1. Referral Program (“Member Get Member”) is a program from PT Bank Commonwealth (“Bank”) for CommBank Premier Customer who makes referral for CommBank Premier account opening from fresh fund placement (“Program”).
  2. This Program is providing cashback to CommBank Premier customers as reference providers in the event that each prospective CommBank Premier customer successfully opens a CommBank Premier account and places new funds in the period of 1 June – 31 July 2024 ("Program Period") with the mechanism stipulated in the Terms and Conditions of this Program.
  3. The customer providing the reference is an active customer of the Bank.
  4. Reference code for the CommBank Premier customers reference providers :
    1. Reference code is an unique code that indicates the reference providers, that will be used to identified the cashback given when opening an account for prospective customer.
    2. Reference provider can sahre the reference code for prospective customer through CommBank Mobile in the ‘Rewards’ menu.
    3. Prospective customer must input reference code when opening new SmartSaver account:
      1. Through CommBank Mobile, or
      2. Through Bank Branch using e-Kiosk
  5. Prospective customers who are referred must fulfil the following conditions:
    1. Have never had any type of savings account at a bank or have had an account that has been closed for more than 6 (six) months.
    2. Never received cashback from the Welcome Gift Bank promo.
    3. Successfully opened a new account at the Bank using the referrer's reference code via CommBank Mobile.
    4. Successfully registered as a CommBank Premier Customer by requesting an upgrade via branch visit or telephone during the Program Period.
    5. Prospective Customers who have opened an account before the Program Period or before obtaining a reference number from the Customer providing the reference cannot be included in this Program.
    6. Placing fresh funds originating from other banks and not from PT Bank Commonwealth, to meet the total balance of > IDR500,000,000 (five hundred million Rupiah).
  6. Rewards for referrals in the form of a cashback are as follows:

    1. Achievements of customers who provide references will be calculated per month and rewards will be given to customers who provide references at maximum of 45 (forty-five) working days from the end of the current achievement month.
    2. The cashback given is before tax deductions and the tax on this cashback is borne entirely by the Customer. Cashback tax on the program scheme follows tax tiering in accordance with the provisions of PPh 21 for individual customers that apply in Indonesia, namely 5% (five percent) for customers who have a Taxpayer Identification Number ("NPWP") and 6% (six percent) for customers who do not have a NPWP for cashback under IDR50,000,000 (fifty million Rupiah). Cashback above IDR50,000,000 (fifty million Rupiah) will follow the applicable tiering in accordance with the provisions of PPh 21.
    3. Cashback will be credited to the referring Customer's Indonesian Rupiah account at the Bank.
    4. Rewards cannot be converted into any other types of rewards.
  7. Bank has the right to withdraw the cashback that has been given and/or cancel the referral Customer's participation in the Program if there is fraud committed by the Referring Customer.
  8. This program does not apply to Bank employees.
  9. The Terms and Conditions of this Service and/or Program are made based on the provisions in Commonwealth Bank and have been adjusted to the provisions of laws and regulations including the provisions of the Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan-OJK).
  10. Bank, based on its authority, can change these Terms and Conditions from time to time and periodically if it deems necessary, and will submit such changes no later than 30 (thirty) working days before the date the changes become effective.
  11. Customers and/or authorized Customer representatives can submit complaints regarding banking transactions/services via the nearest Bank branch office or Call CommBank Premier 1500 938 verbally or in writing. The mechanism for submitting Customer Complaints can be accessed here.
