Welcome Gift Program Terms and Conditions

  1. Program period: 1 June 2024 – 31 July 2024 (“Program Period”)
  2. This program is for new customers / New to Bank (“NTB Customer”) or existing customers who upgrade to become a CommBank Premier customer / New to Premier (“NTP Customer”) that has never received cashback from this Welcome Gift Program. (“Program”).
  3. The criterion for an NTB Customer is a customer that is new to PT Bank Commonwealth (“Bank”) that has never had a relationship with the bank.
  4. The criterion for an NTP Customer is an existing CommBank Premier customer minimum for the last 3 (three) months before registering to the Program, or existing Bank Customer that have an account in the Bank minimum 3 (three) months and upgrade to CommBank Premier in the same month as Program registration.
  5. To join this Program, an NTP customer must place a minimum fund of IDR500,000,000 (five hundred million Rupiah) and upgrade to become a CommBank Premier customer referring to the applicable Premier Banking Terms and Conditions

  6. This Program is only available for fresh funds (“Fresh Fund”). The criterion for Fresh Fund is the calculated difference between customer’s total balance in the Bank (at the end of the month) with customer’s total balance 1 (one) month before fund placement (end of month).
  7. NTB Customer can join this Program by open an account through CommBank Mobile using the referral code COMMGIFT or by visiting a Bank Commonwealth branch by filling in the available form to join the Program. If the referral code used for registration is different from the referral code stated, the NTP Customer will not be eligible to receive cashback.
  8. NTP Customer can join this Program by visiting a Bank Commonwealth branch and filling in the available form to join the Program.
  9. To join this Program, NTB Customer or NTP Customer must complete all the following conditions:
    1. Successfully opened a CommBank SmartSaver account through CommBank Mobile / e-Kiosk or Bonus Saver account through Bank branch visit.
    2. Place fund in minimum 2 (two) Bank product: (Term Deposit/ Mutual Fund/ Bonds/ Bancassurance/ FX transaction), using Fresh Fund amount in accordance with the Table for Welcome Gift Program cashback scheme in point 10 of this Program’s Terms and Conditions. Customers must ensure that the fund placed initially (in the current month) is equal to the amount of Fresh Fund that is declared for cashback eligibility.
    3. Minimum placement for one Bank product is IDR100,000,000 (one hundred million Rupiah).
    4. Fulfil all three conditions above at a maximum of 30 (thirty) calendar days after opening the CommBank SmartSaver or Bonus Saver account.
  10. After the terms and conditions of this Program, including points 6, 7, 8 and 9 above, are fulfilled, the customer will receive rewards in the form of cashback ("Cashback") according to the amount of Fresh Fund placement in the following Cashback Program scheme table:

  11. For fund placements in USD, Cashback will still be given in Rupiah with an exchange rate calculation of 1 USD (one United States Dollar) = IDR15,000 (fifteen thousand Rupiah). This exchange rate can change at any time, depending on market conditions that will be refer to the prevailing Counter Rate on the day.
  12. Customers will receive Cashback a maximum of 60 (sixty) working days after fulfilling all the requirements in the points 6, 7, 8 and 9. Cashback will be paid to the customer's savings account that has been registered with the Bank.
  13. The Cashback given is before tax deduction and the tax on this Cashback is borne entirely by the customer. Cashback tax on the Program scheme follows tax tiering in accordance with the applicable PPh 21 provisions, namely for individual customers that apply in Indonesia, namely 5% (five percent) for customers who have a Taxpayer Identification Number (“NPWP”) and 6% (six percent) for customers who do not have NPWP for Cashback under IDR50,000,000 (fifty million Rupiah). Cashback above IDR50,000,000 (fifty million Rupiah) will follow the applicable tiering in accordance with the provisions of PPh 21 which apply in Indonesia.
  14. Cashback provided cannot be transferred to other customers and/or third parties.
  15. This Program cannot be combined with other programs available at the Bank.

  17. Terms and conditions related to products and/or services is made based on Bank’s terms and conditions that have been adjusted with Indonesian legislation and regulation including the Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan - “OJK”.
  18. Other provisions related to products and/or services, as long as they are not regulated differently in these Terms and Conditions, are declared to remain valid and binding on the customer and become an inseparable unit. These Terms and Conditions are an inseparable part of the General Terms and Conditions and Special Terms and Conditions for PT Bank Commonwealth Digital Services which can be accessed here
  19. The customer hereby declares that he/she understands, acknowledges, and agrees that for products & services placed with a value/interest rate that exceeds the maximum value/interest rate guaranteed under the deposit program by the Deposit Insurance Corporation ("LPS") then the account will not be included in and/or will not be guaranteed by the deposit guarantee program by LPS. Banks are LPS guarantee participants. Mutual Funds, Bonds or Bancassurance products are not products issued by the Bank, so the Bank does not have any obligations and does not guarantee anything regarding these Mutual Funds, Bonds or Bancassurance products. Mutual Funds, Bonds or Bancassurance are also not included in the scope of LPS guarantee program objects.
  20. Customers and/or authorized Customer representatives can submit complaints regarding banking transactions/services through the nearest Bank branch office or via Call CommBank 15000 30 orally or in writing via the Submission Mechanism
  21. Bank, based on its authority, can change the Terms and Conditions of this Program at any time and periodically if it deems necessary, and will communicate these changes to customers before the effective date of the changes.
  22. Bank has the right to cancel transactions if fraud is found regarding this Program.
  23. Customer is required to read, know, understand, and agree to all the Terms & Conditions contained in this Program, including all risks and guarantee that all information provided regarding this Program is correct and in accordance with its original conditions.
  24. These Terms and Conditions are made in two languages, namely Indonesian and English. If there is a difference in interpretation between the Indonesian and English versions, the Indonesian version will apply.
